Serotonin specialises in professional music engineering and production for bands and solo artists.

We have our own private studios with a specialised selection of analog and digital equipment. A good selection of microphones, class A preamps and outboard FX and processors and a 16 channel Neve Summing Mixer. As well as some great sounding professional amps and instruments. (see studio page)

Our rates are based on a per song basis not per hr. We believe in producing songs and working with the artists. This being said we take pre-production and preperation of your product as part of the package to ensure the best result.

Full Production Recording

All clients having full production EP’s or Album’s will receive a Serotonin recording pack including digital tuner/metronome for preproduction, Serotonin bag, picks, MP3 player for mixes, preproduction sheets for each song and your production agreement.

Full production recordings include the following,

• Pre-production recording (quick demo recording prior to final production to refine songs)
• Production planning meetings, recording prep., preproduction sheets and song analysis
• Tracking, Editing, Basic Programming
• Mixing

Mastering
-Mastering includes Red Book Master for Printing and tagged MP3’s, seamless track joining and secret track pre or post burn if required.

The production process is focused and refined from years of international releases, preparation of the song structure, tones, sounds and preparation of the performers involved. You will receive instruction on what is going to work best for your recording to ensure the best performance and sound possible.
