Guy Cooper is a 29yr old professional music producer, music publisher and musician, through his business Serotonin Productions he has produced, managed, performed with and published several local acts into international markets and holds several recording contracts with labels from around the world. Working with great musicians to create seminal albums, creative and original packages including visual elements such as disc artwork, video-clips and online media, all tied into high end audio production with a perfectionist attitude and a genuine interest in your music.
Guys also lecturers at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in production, live performance and music industry skills, personally managing and setting up the Qld Conservatorium’s multi-million dollar flagship studios from 2001-2007. Guy is no stranger to the live stage having also played in numerous bands around Australia including performing at the 2009 Big Day Out with local Gold Coast band Adelle and soon to be touring Japan and the USA with their new album.
In 2005 Guy started a Gold Coast music press called Undertow with fellow musician Luke Reichelt, operating as editor for 2 ½ years and during this period was also Vice-President of the GCMIA.
Guy has worked with many local artists across a wide range of genres from modern rock and pop to indie, hardcore and metal, helping them to create records to further their careers locally and internationally including, Transport, The Combovers, Adelle and Reichelt.
